About Us
The International Whaling Commission (IWC) was set up under the International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling which was signed in Washington DC on 2nd December 1946. To find out more about the International Whaling Commission, click HERE.
The IWC’s publications form part of its mandate to promote and publish the results of scientific research related to the conservation of whales and the management of whaling. Its pricing policy is thus such that it reflects the costs of production and is not for profit.Customer Service
